Nature

The Divoká Orlice runs along the southern boundary of the municipality of Lípa nad Orlicí. Part of Lípa nad Orlicí lies within Orlice Nature Park. This nature park was established in 1996 to protect the floodplain landscape of the Orlice and its tributaries. The Eurasian otter occurs in the Orlice a Labe Natura 2000 site.

The mountain Strýc, the hill “U Lipové”, the hill Štěpnice and the hill “U Ždárského rybníka” are located in the vicinity of Lípa nad Orlicí.

Getting around

Cycle path 4363 runs through Lípa nad Orlicí and connects Lípa nad Orlicí, Častolovice and Kostelec nad Orlicí. Railway line 021 between Týniště nad Orlicí and Letohrad also runs through Lípa nad Orlicí.
