Libníkovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Libníkovice can be explored along a historical trail approximately 6 kilometres long through the village and its districts. It is suitable for pedestrians, cyclists, families with children and people with pushchairs. The Rozhledna Libníkovice lookout tower was opened on 12 July 1930, is 15 metres high, freely accessible and replaced a historic lime tree at the same location that had been destroyed by lightning.

Trails and Events

The historical trail can be started at Klub Libníkovice between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. During the associated event, refreshments are available at Klub Libníkovice from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Stezka odvahy takes place annually as part of „Tradiční opékání“. Children and adults meet at Klub Libníkovice at 7:30 p.m.; participants may bring one accompanying person.

History

The village’s buildings also tell stories of different periods. The column-style wooden bell tower in Libníkovice was built in 1874. Its predecessor dated from 1812, and in the 20th century the bell tower was replaced by a metal structure. On the western side of Libníkovice, a stone cross replaced a wooden cross that had previously stood there in 1921.

Culture

At „Velikonoční tvoření“, willow rods for the Pomlázka are woven, Easter eggs are decorated using various techniques and Easter decorations are made from birch branches.
