Lazne Belohrad: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Lázně Bělohrad combines spa traditions, nature trails and cultural history. Lázně Bělohrad specialises in treating musculoskeletal disorders as well as gynaecological, neurological, oncological and dermatological conditions. In addition, the therapeutic use of peat at the Bělohradské slatinné lázně dates back to the 19th century.

Spa and Landscape

Bažantnice is a 51-hectare spa park. The former Annamariánský pramen spring in Bažantnice is now called Pramen Vita. Another distinctive landscape feature is the Kamenná hůra Nature Reserve, which protects a remnant beech forest growing on mineral-poor sandstone conglomerate.

Trails through Nature

The Kamennou hůrou educational trail begins in the chateau park of Lázně Bělohrad and leads through Brtev to the entrance of the Kamenná hůra Nature Reserve. Along the Kamennou hůrou route, the Kamenná hůra Nature Reserve is home to a rare stand of beech trees.

The Hopsík a tajemství starého Bělohradu route has seven stops and is approximately 3 kilometres long. The entire route is accessible to pedestrians, prams and bicycles. A fairytale walk with carved wooden figures and mythical creatures also runs along the pond at Pardoubek.

Culture and History

The Bělohradská sýpka was reconstructed in 2024 as a multifunctional space for cultural, educational and social events. The renovated Baroque building is open to visitors as a multifunctional cultural venue and has a gallery space with old vaults on the first floor. Concerts, exhibitions, theatre performances, workshops and seminars take place at the Bělohradská sýpka; it is considered one of the most important landmarks in Lázně Bělohrad and its surroundings.

The Fričovo muzeum was built in 1903–1904 as a model local museum, but it is currently not open to the public. The Památník Karla Václava Raise presents a permanent exhibition on the life and work of the writer and on the history of Lázně Bělohrad; exhibitions are occasionally held there.

The Church of St Peter and St Paul in Byšičky is registered as an immovable cultural monument in the Czech heritage protection records.
