Kbelnice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Kbelnice lies largely in the valley of the Kbelnický potok watercourse. At the same time, the ossuary in Kbelnice commemorates the Austro-Prussian War of 1866 as a memorial.

Culture and History

The ossuary contains the mortal remains of fallen soldiers and gravestones. Its grounds include military and civilian graves. There is also a monument to the Holy Trinity in the centre of Kbelnice.

Behind Kbelnice, on the road from Jičín to Turnov, there is a military cemetery for those who fell in the war of 1866. The secessionist chapel of the military cemetery was built between 1904 and 1906. In the wider regional area around Kbelnice are the churches of Valdštejn and Lázně.

Landscape

The Cidlina flows along the eastern side of Kbelnice. The Přivýšina mountain is located in the immediate vicinity of Kbelnice. The surrounding area also includes the Tábor, Střelečská hůra and Maxinec mountains (MLázovický chlum).
