Active pursuits
Loděnice Černožice accepts girls and boys from the age of eight. A tourist signpost at the Elbe bridge in Černožice points in two directions. At Černožice railway station, another tourist signpost points along the blue-marked route towards Lázně Velichovky and Kuks.
Getting there and routes
Černožice railway station is located on line 031 Pardubice–Hradec Králové–Jaroměř. It provides step-free access to all platforms and has tactile guidance systems for passengers with visual impairments.
Culture and history
Villa Anna in Černožice was built in 1905 and designed by the architect Balšánek. Vila Anna is a detached two-storey villa with a basement partially built into the ground. The gable of Vila Anna bears the inscription “VILLA – ANNA” and the year “1905”.
The nationally significant so-called “stříbrný černožický poklad” was found in Černožice in 1979. The stone cross “Kamenný kříž” in Černožice stands in front of house no. 168 and was originally located in Čáslavky. Sehnoutkův dům in Černožice was begun in spring 1926 as part of welfare provision for the employees of J. Sehnoutka’s spinning and weaving mill.
