Černíkovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Černíkovice Chateau traces the history of Černíkovice: At its present location, there was originally a fortress built after 1558. The chateau stands on the right bank of the Bělá at the eastern edge of Černíkovice and was rebuilt in the Empire style between 1822 and 1825.

Culture and history

The chapel dedicated to Saint Procopius is also part of the local history. It was built in 1880 in the central district of Černíkovice known as “Na vršku”; its patron saint is Saint Procopius. The chapel is included in the list of cultural monuments.

Another historic building is the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, an early Baroque building constructed between 1648 and 1652. The Podzámecký Mill, a large Baroque mill with four millworks and part of the complex of farm and ancillary buildings by the chateau, is also located near Černíkovice Chateau.

The Strýc mountain is located in the vicinity of Černíkovice. The Homole hill [Černíkovice] lies in the immediate surroundings of Černíkovice. The mountains Velká Suchá and Malá Deštná are located in the wider regional area.

Cycling route

The official route runs from Solnice via Černíkovice and Uhřínovice to Ježkovice and Týniště; it is connected to cycling route 4241.
