Jahodov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Jahodovský Circuit is a tourist circular trail and an excursion route. The hike leads along forest paths through the foothill forests and includes resting places.

Nature

The Jahodovský stream flows through the valley below Jahodov. The forests of Jahodov cover more than 300 hectares and are visited by tourists and mushroom pickers.

Trails

The Spálenisko spring can be reached on foot via a forest path. It is located about 50 metres from the road and about 50 metres from the turn-off to Končiny.

History and Crafts

The chapel in Jahodov was built in 1870 from a bequest by Wolfgang Hanuš. It is the only cultural monument in Jahodov.

In Jahodov, bobbin lacemaking replaced the defunct weaving trade. In almost all of Jahodov’s families, women and children worked with lace pillows in winter.

Local Views

There are several log houses in Vršál. Log house No. 29 in Vršál was built in the 19th century by Ludvík Preclík.
