Zálezlice is located in the fertile Elbe lowlands, in the landscape of the Elbe–Vltava interfluve. Near a former branch of the Vltava lies the Kozárovická tůň. It is a remnant of an original river meander and a popular destination for nature lovers and peaceful walks.
Cycle Routes
The Vltava Cycle Route No. 7 runs through Zálezlice between Nelahozeves and Hořín on the way to Mělník. With the exception of the Klecany–Na Dole ferry section, Vltava Cycle Route No. 7 follows the Vltava and has no major climbs. Cycle Route No. 2 also passes through Zálezlice on the connection Kralupy nad Vltavou – Nelahozeves – Zálezlice – Mělník – Ústí nad Labem.
