Tušovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Tušovice reveals its special character particularly vividly along the two trails Tušílkova stezka and Tušílkova stezka – nové osudy: The green Tušílkova stezka is aimed primarily at families with small children, is 2.9 km long and offers 11 playful stations. The orange Tušílkova stezka – nové osudy is 3.3 km long and has 12 predominantly educational stations.
Nature and Exercise
Both Tušílkova trails run through easy terrain along paved paths and forest trails and are therefore suitable for sports strollers. At the start of the Tušílkova trails, next to the multifunctional sports ground, there is a small car park for up to six cars.
Activities and Events
Local events are also part of Tušovice's character. Tušovický kapřík is a recurring fishing event; the 12th edition took place at the upper pond in 2026 and included entertaining games and skill-based games, fishing, and small refreshments. The firefighting competition Tušovické osmičky includes categories for men, women and children. For cyclists, cycle route 8212 runs through Řeteč, Tušovice, Tochovice and Třebsko.
Historical Traces
Tušovice was first mentioned in 1359 and was then owned by the Vladik Ondřej z Tušovic. In 1544, a fortress with an estate and the village of Tušovice were owned by Elena z Tušovic. Slavic burial grounds are located on Tušovický vrch south of Tušovice and near Hrobice north of the village. There is a bell tower in Tušovice's village square.
Until the end of the 20th century, Tušovičky preserved its completely intact village settlement structure and is considered one of the most valuable rural settlements in the Příbram and Březnice area.
