Landscape and Trails

Pečice is characterized by a high-quality natural environment and a varied landscape; the settlements are located away from the main roads. Hiking and cycling tourism are part of Pečice’s recreational potential. A green-marked hiking trail also passes through Pečice.

The mountains of Bukovec, Velká Leč, Vinice and Hrby are located in the surroundings of Pečice.

Culture and Local History

The Church of St. Lawrence is one of two immovable cultural monuments registered for the municipality of Pečice. Its portal features recessed profiles whose grooves end bluntly in a sloping surface.

Farmstead No. 15 in Drsník was formerly an inn and dates from the end of the 18th or the beginning of the 19th century. The farmstead includes the preserved original enclosing wall and the remains of the adjacent farm buildings.

At the edge of Pečice, on the road to Cetyně, there is a wayside shrine (Boží muka).

The monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars stands in the village square of Pečice near the church. The war memorial in Pečice commemorates the fallen members of the parish from the years 1914 to 1918, as well as the victims of the Nazi occupation from 1939 to 1945. A cenotaph for Václav Pecka is located in the Pečice municipal cemetery.
