Stipoklasy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Štipoklasy combines a written history dating back to the 14th century with a village center where archaeological finds have been documented or are reasonably suspected to exist. The first written mention of the village dates from the 14th century; at that time, Štipoklasy belonged to Zbraslavice Castle and Estate.

History and Culture

The fortress of Štipoklasy was abandoned in the 17th century, eventually fell into disrepair, and disappeared. The village is home to rural house No. 23, which is protected as a cultural monument.

The wider regional area also contains named cultural attractions: Zámek Kačina castle is located there, as is the Loreta church.

Landscape

The Vrchlice stream flows through Štipoklasy. The Vrchlice rises east of the village of Štipoklasy in the Kutná Hora District.

The Janovický kopec hill [Červené Janovice] is located in the vicinity of Štipoklasy. The U Rápošova hill [Zbraslavice] is also nearby. The U Kŕíže hill [Opatovice I] is likewise located in the vicinity.

The Ostojovka mountain [Ledeč nad Sázavou-Souboř] is located in the wider regional area around Štipoklasy.

Transport and Routes

The Štipoklasy area is connected to Zruč nad Sázavou and Kutná Hora by Road II/126, which runs from north to south. Road II/339 runs through Čáslav, Štipoklasy, and Ledeč nad Sázavou.

Neither a cycle path nor a marked hiking trail runs through the Štipoklasy area. The Štipoklasy railway station building, including the passenger shelter, is not accessible.
