Culture and History

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Rašovice was built in 1350 and remodelled into its present form in 1748. The first written mention of Rašovice dates from 1360 and names Sudivoj of Rašovice. Beřice Fortress stood at the former Hradecký Pond. The former settlement of Beřice probably disappeared in 1469. The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is also listed under ÚSKP number 26363/2-1152.
