Sobesovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Soběšovice is located on the right bank of the Žermanice Reservoir. At the VN Žermanice–Soběšovice bathing area below the “Pod Husarůvkou” campsite and other adjacent leisure facilities, there is a grassy beach and a gently sloping entry into the water.

Nature

Water sports available at the Žermanice Reservoir include windsurfing and yachting. Seasonal fishing also takes place there; the fishing season begins every spring. Pedal boats and small boats can be rented at the VN Žermanice–Soběšovice bathing area. Walks and trips around the reservoir are possible at the Žermanice Reservoir.

The Soběšovice Lookout Tower has an observation platform at a height of 17.5 metres, accessible via 45 steps. From the Soběšovice Lookout Tower, there are views of the panorama of the Beskids and the dam of the Žermanice Reservoir.

Trails

The blue-marked hiking trail 2239 between Frýdek–Místek and Český Těšín passes through Soběšovice. The established cycling route 6005 also runs through Soběšovice on the Frýdek–Místek – Žermanice – Frýdek–Místek loop.

Culture

The Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary is located in Soběšovice, in the cadastral area of Pitrov. It is a monument of local significance and a local landmark. The site of the former church of Soběšovice is flooded by the waters of the Žermanice Reservoir.
