Rozmital - Skuhrov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Skuhrov presents historical traces, connections with nature and distinctive places in the wider surrounding area within a confined space. The village lies on the Vlčava and at the same time preserves memories of its school, ironworking and milling traditions.

History

Skuhrov once had a one-class school. The former one-class school was relocated to nearby Nesvačily in 1818. An iron hammer mill was formerly located west of Skuhrov; the former site is associated with the present-day field name “U Pátého hamru”.

At a crossroads in the centre of Skuhrov stands a small cross. The Vilhelm water mill in Skuhrov was converted from an old hammer mill. It has a well-preserved millrace, which is dry, however.

Nature

Part of the cadastral area of Skuhrov pod Třemšínem lies in Třemšín Nature Park. Třemšín Nature Park serves in particular to preserve forests, wooded areas outside forests and the characteristic structure of agricultural land.

Trnkova tůň in the cadastral area of Skuhrov belongs to the SKALICE 4 fishing district and covers 0.3 hectares.

The mountains Štěrbina, Vinice, Praha and Velká Třemošná are located in the vicinity of Skuhrov.
