Ratbor: Apartments and Holiday Homes
The oldest cultural monument in Ratboř is the Church of Saint Wenceslas, which was first mentioned in writing in 1352. It was originally Gothic and was remodelled in the Baroque style in 1673; a bell tower was added to it around 1700. In front of the church stands a sculpture group depicting the apotheosis of Saint John of Nepomuk. Ratboř railway station is integrated into the integrated transport system.
Culture
The protected château complex of Ratboř comprises the New Château, also known as Mandelík Villa; it includes a park with sculptures. The Baroque barn is the most striking surviving part of Ratboř’s former farmyard. The Ratboř granary was extensively and expertly restored in 2018–2019 and stands in an open space between the Old Château and the Church of Saint Wenceslas. The remains of the Skokanovský Mill are freely accessible at your own risk.
