The Dománovický Forest protects a natural oak-hornbeam woodland with protected and endangered plant and animal species. Kozí hůra also includes exemplary preserved woodland complexes consisting of oak-hornbeam forests, cinquefoil-oak forests, and downy oak forests, with occurrences of endangered species.

Nature

The Hořánck and Kamenec mountains are located in the vicinity of Domanovice. The Dománovícxký vrch hill [Dománovice] lies in the immediate vicinity of Domanovice. In the wider regional surroundings of Domanovice lies the U Borku mountain [Záhornice u Městce Králové].

The Dománovický břek was planted around 1860 and stands southeast of the cemetery.

Paths and Orientation

Kozí hůra is partially accessible via the blue-marked Kolín–Žehuň–Rožďalovice hiking trail, as well as via unmarked field and forest paths.

The Dománovický Forest Nature Reserve lies approximately 1 km east of Dománovice. The road connecting Dománovice and Radovesnice II crosses the northern part of the Dománovický Forest Nature Reserve. No marked hiking or cycling trails run through Dománovice.

Kačina Chateau is a château in the vicinity of Domanovice. Svatý Jiří is a church in the wider regional surroundings of Dománovice.
