Mrzky: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Paví Dvůr training hall in Mrzky offers 390 m² of indoor space for dog training. Paví Dvůr welcomes, among other activities, agility, dog dancing, obedience training, obedience and hoopers.

Culture

The Kaplička 1899 chapel in Mrzky was built in 1899 using contributions from local residents. The first surviving written mention of Mrzky comes from a document dated 23 May 1295.

The memorial to the citizens of Mrzky who fell in the First World War was erected in 1919 at the expense of the residents and the municipality. The memorial lists the names of 20 fallen residents from Mrzky, along with the house numbers of their homes.

A two-storey timber-framed granary from Mrzky, dated 1791, was intended to be transferred to a museum in Přerov.

Hiking

A published hiking route starts in the village square of Mrzky and follows the Středočeská ovocná stezka and cycle route 8210 towards Limuzy. A green-marked hiking trail is available to visitors in Mrzky and leads through the local surroundings.

A circular hiking trail leads through the forest along the Šembera and through Hradešínský les. The Dolánka hill [Tismice] is in the immediate surroundings of Mrzky, as is the (Na Spravedlnosti) hill [Český Brod]. The (Na Marjánce) hill [Zvánovice] is located in the surroundings of Mrzky.

The Hradešínka stream flows into the larger Bušinec stream in Mrzky.
