Přehvozdí is home to a stone bell tower made of red Nučice sandstone. It dates from 1864.
Culture and Architectural Heritage
The chapel in Přehvozdí is a vernacular religious building dating from around the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. It is incorporated into a stone wall, has an oval floor plan and a south-facing façade. On 23 November 1987, the chapel was entered in the Central Register of Immovable Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic under number 17670/2-3467.
The granary and gate of Farm No. 13 in Přehvozdí are entered in the Central Register of Immovable Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic under number 38100/2–3466. Přehvozdí is also home to a sandstone milestone from the 19th century.
Landscape and Village Character
Přehvozdí lies in an open valley through which a local stream flows. A pond centrally located in Přehvozdí separates the historic farmstead buildings from the newer development to the north.
Přehvozdí is surrounded by extensive forest complexes in hilly terrain, stretching westward from the Šembera valley. To the east, the Obora complex extends as far as here.
South of Přehvozdí, at a crossroads leading to Kostelec nad Černými lesy and the former Liechtenstein game preserve, stand the two Lípy u Přehvozdí lime trees. On 1 July 1987, they were declared memorial trees. They are small-leaved lime trees whose age was estimated at around 220 years in 2020.
