Osečany: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Osečany is home to Zámek Osečany, a Renaissance fortress that was expanded into a three-winged château around 1680.

History

Around 1733, a château chapel was established in the south wing of Zámek Osečany under Count Bubna von Litice; this probably marked the completion of the château. The cellars and the remains of a round tower have been preserved at Zámek Osečany.

Landscape

The park below Zámek Osečany was laid out by the Counts Lanius. Osečany Park covered five hectares. A pond west of Zámek Osečany is part of the park. The sights of Zámek Osečany include a renovated Renaissance parterre.
