Culture

On 14 May 2026, a restored wooden altar with an altarpiece was returned to the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity in Opatovice I. The origins of Opatovice are probably connected with the activities of the abbots of the nearby Sedlec Monastery, who were involved in the settlement of the region south of Kutná Hora in the 13th century. Traditional community events in Opatovice I include an Advent concert in the chapel.

The 61.5-kilometre-long CKH16 cycling route passes through Opatovice I. There are ponds and rest areas at the CKH16 cycling route point in Opatovice I. The Opatovická lávka is a cycling experience involving crossing the Mlýnský rybník pond via a narrow bridge.
