Nymburk: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Nymburk combines historic buildings, exhibitions, and landscapes along the Elbe River. A reconstructed section of the brick wall on Na Přístavě dates back to the 13th century. The Turecká věž is a former municipal water conduit from the Renaissance period, dating from 1597. The historic old town was declared an urban heritage conservation zone in 1992.

Culture and History

The Vlastivědné muzeum Nymburk offers a newly designed exhibition on the history of the town and the entire region. Another architectural detail is the tower of St. Giles Church in Nymburk, a rare example of Gothic brick architecture.
