History and Local Culture

Archaeological finds indicate that Bobnice was settled by the 11th century at the latest. Two written records from 1363 document the existence of the village. During the Thirty Years' War, particularly between 1631 and 1634, Bobnice was looted and completely destroyed by Saxon troops. There was already a school in Bobnice in the first half of the 18th century. The Bobnice municipal chronicle covers the years 1757 to 1866.
