Nemíž: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The protected site “Na ostrově” is located in the cadastral area of Nemiž in Nemíž. It was established on 29 December 1972 to protect a significant site of common juniper (Juniperus communis) and covers 4.21 hectares.

Hiking

The “Putování okolo Tehova” hiking event took place on Saturday, 19 October 2024, and lasted approximately five hours. During the event, participants visited a protected juniper area. At the event on the same day, the local “Spolkovně” in Nemíž was the first refreshment station.

Regular services are not held in the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk in Nemíž. The chapel is not accessible to people with disabilities.

Road II/125 runs through the municipality of Tehov via Kolín, Psáře, the D1, Tehov, Vlašim and Mladá Vožice. The D1 motorway is 2.5 km away and can be accessed via exit 49 (Psáře).

The first written mention of Nemíž dates from 1471. In the 19th century, Nemíž was a settlement belonging to the municipality of Ctiboř. In the censuses of 1869 and 1880, the place was called Němče, and in 1890 it was called Němiž.
