Lhota: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Lake Lhota was created in 1983 after sand extraction ended, when a sand pit was flooded. Its water surface covers 25 hectares.

Forests cover 72.4 % of the area of the municipality of Lhota. Lhota’s natural and recreational area includes forests used for recreational purposes. Lhota lies on gravelly-sandy subsoil; the municipality is situated on a plain at the edge of an extensive forest.

A road from Lhota leads to the car park near the northern shore of Lake Lhota.

Getting around

Cycle route 0039 and a red-marked hiking trail run through the centre of Lhota. The flat terrain of Lhota is suitable for walking and cycling tourism.

Culture and history

The bell tower in Lhota was built during the First World War. The monument to those who fell in the First World War in Lhota was erected in 1926.

The gate with a wicket gate in Lhota is a symmetrically designed brick gate with rich decorative detailing dating from the first half of the 19th century. The protected structure is the gate of the farmstead on the associated plot of land.
