Jablonná: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Jablonná is located in the Milínská vrchovina, a hilly landscape characterised by distinctive ridges, rock formations shaped by weathering and erosion, and deeply incised valleys of the Vltava and its tributaries. A blue-marked hiking trail runs through the municipality from north to south, from Višňová via Jelence to the centre of the Horní Hbity district and onwards to Horní Líšnice and Solenice.

Nature

Jablonná has a high-quality natural environment and a varied landscape suitable for recreational purposes. The high proportion of scattered greenery contributes to the area's natural quality. Small agricultural plots make up a large proportion of the landscape. The most important small watercourses in the municipality are Chobotský potok and Vápenický potok. At 550.9 m above sea level, Velká Skála is a dominant feature of the landscape.

Hiking Trails

A green-marked hiking trail runs along the north-western boundary of the municipality of Jablonná through the forest areas of Příbram in an easterly direction via Obory to Hříměždice.

Transport

Road II/118 forms the main transport axis through the municipality of Jablonná. Regular public bus services connect the municipality to public passenger transport.

History and Culture

Until the end of the manorial administration in 1850, Jablonná belonged to the Dobříš estate. The place name Jablonná is derived from Old Czech words associated with the apple tree. Dolejší mlýn is located in the vicinity of Horní Hbity. Its milling equipment has been fully preserved, but the mill is not accessible.
