Holubice features an outstanding monument in its townscape: the Romanesque Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. It is considered the most important monument in the village; original Romanesque frescoes have been preserved inside.
Culture
The Chapel of Saint Gotthard shapes the appearance of the village centre. It is an important example of high-Baroque sacred small-scale art from 1769. Another historical trace lies south of Holubice: on the wooded Ers Hill there is an elongated, presumably prehistoric burial mound measuring approximately 30 × 18 metres.
The grounds of the Chapel of Saint Michael comprise the chapel itself, a retaining wall and a staircase. The Baroque chapel in Kozinec was built by Jesuits in 1739; its interior features a simple dome and figurative fresco painting.
The Rotunda of Holubice is also one of the village’s special buildings. In the cadastral area of Holubice, it can be used as a wedding venue for a fee of 3,000 Kč.
Sports and Trails
A yellow-marked hiking trail leads via Kozinec to Holubice. In the 2025/2026 season, the local TJ Sokol Holubice club fields a men’s team in the Praha-západ DECATHLON district league, the 8th league, and has youth teams ranging from Minipřípravka to the junior category.
Following the opening of the new facilities in February 2026, all training sessions and home matches of TJ Sokol Holubice should take place at the home sports ground.
