Culture and History

The Church of St. Bartholomew was built as a Baroque church between 1763 and 1769. The church still houses the original bell, cast by Jan Priquei in 1696. St. Bartholomew's Church is listed as an immovable cultural monument.

Uhelný mlýn was transformed from a production site into a space for contemporary culture and a gallery. The ARTO.TO Gallery is located on the first floor of Uhelný mlýn. In its gallery at Uhelný mlýn, ARTO.TO offers art workshops.

Libčické posvícení is a traditional festival weekend in Libčice nad Vltavou. The 2025 Libčické posvícení was scheduled to include traditional football matches, concerts, an animal show, guided tours of St. Bartholomew's Church, and activities by the water along the waterfront promenade.

Libčická plovárna rents out an illuminated multi-purpose sports court year-round for tennis, small-sided football, and nohejbal. It also has a beach volleyball court; Libčická plovárna also includes a climbing wall and a barefoot trail.
