Drahlín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Drahlín combines specific historical sites with marked trails leading towards the Brdy Protected Landscape Area (CHKO Brdy). Chapels, the Tvrziště Drahlín archaeological site and the Brdy Ridge provide different points of interest in the area.

Culture and History

The chapel in Drahlín stands on the village green. It is dedicated to Saint Wenceslas and was built in 1896. Its original bell was used for military purposes during the Nazi occupation.

The chapel in Malý Drahlín is dedicated to Saint John and was built in 1890. Images of saints can be seen inside through its window.

West of the town centre and directly beside the local sports field lies the Tvrziště Drahlín archaeological site, “Na Hradišti”. It preserves the remains of collapsed cellars, a ditch and traces of an outer rampart.

Hiking and Cycling

A marked red hiking trail runs from Čenkov via Dominikální Paseky through Drahlín to Obecnice. In the Drahlín area, a marked green hiking trail branches off from this red trail and leads north into the Brdy Protected Landscape Area (CHKO Brdy).

The marked cycle route 302 runs through Drahlín and Obecnice onwards to Příbram. As part of the Velký jinecký okruh, this cycle route leads to Drahlín.

Landscape and Nature

The EBR radiolocation station, named Malý Drahlín, is a prominent landmark of the Brdy Ridge above Drahlín.

The highly endangered, specially protected butterfly species Modrásek očkovaný (Maculinea teleius) and Modrásek bahenní (Maculinea nausithous) are reported for Louky u Drahlína.
