Chlumín combines sacred architectural history, Baroque traces, memorial sites and a protected area with a rare plant species. This diversity is particularly evident in the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene, the Holy Trinity Column, the château and the historic sites in the village.
Culture
The Church of Saint Mary Magdalene was rebuilt in the Baroque style at its original location in 1732. It has a semicircular apse and a tower on the west side. It also serves as an exhibition and concert hall.
The Holy Trinity Column stands in the square in Chlumín and was donated by Anna Maria of Tuscany in 1729. The group of figures was created by the sculptor Jan Pursch. The column was restored in 1958, 2000 and 2017.
The cemetery chapel was built in the 1930s in place of an earlier cross and is associated with a legend about a death caused by unrequited love. The memorial to those who fell in the First World War in Chlumín was ceremonially unveiled in 1923.
Chlumín Château was remodelled in the Baroque style around the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. A fortress probably already stood on the site of the château in the first half of the 14th century.

The rare yellow iris grows in a protected area in Chlumín.
