A celebration in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes is associated with Županje and takes place on 10 May. Another historical trace lies directly along the trail: a gumno is a circular, level platform enclosed by a low stone wall that was formerly used for threshing grain.

The celebration and the historic gumno represent two different periods: 10 May refers to a recurring feast day, while the former use of the platform explicitly lies in the past. Both references form part of the cultural and historical context of the trail.
