The Soline Bay is associated with pre-Roman salt pans. The bay is also said to have been known to the ancient Romans, who used the mud from its shallow sea for medicinal purposes.

Fulfinum Forum and Fulfinum Mirine are located near Soline. Fortičina Omisalj, Fort Maltempo, Plaža Pesja, the island of Krk and Beach Vela Riva are also in the surrounding area. Biserujka is located in the immediate vicinity of Soline.
Routes
The 12.7-kilometre circular hiking trail “Tales of Soline” runs through Soline Bay along the sandy beach and then climbs to the historic and cultural centre of Dobrinj.
The “Wellness trail 405” cycling route branches off towards Soline on the eastern side of Krk.
Coast
Soline Beach can be reached by road, by sea and on foot. Refreshments, parking spaces and a shower are available there.
