Žestilac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The Dobrinj Discovery Trail passes through the hamlet of Žestilac. The village is also part of a challenging 27.5-kilometre MTB route from Klimno through the hilly hinterland of Dobrinjština. The route includes 673 metres of elevation gain and runs along gravel roads, forest paths and technically demanding single-track sections.

Culture
The sacred art collection at the museum in Dobrinj preserves a copy of the Dragoslav Charter from the year 1100. It also preserves the religious heritage of Dobrinjština. The Church of Saint Stephen in Dobrinj is considered one of the oldest religious and cultural monuments in Dobrinjština. The Church Gallery of Saint Anthony in Dobrinj hosts summer exhibitions. In the nearby Church of Saint Clement in Klimno, the altarpiece is a protected cultural monument.
Paths and Landscape
The Dobrinj Discovery Trail includes a circular threshing floor surrounded by a low stone wall. The threshing floor was formerly used for threshing grain, village meetings, decision-making and harvest festivals, and is considered part of the island’s architectural heritage.
Nearby, the hiking trail leads to the remains of a Roman villa rustica from the 6th century. The site offers views of the Crikvenica Riviera, the barrier of the Vinodol Channel and nearby mountain peaks. Visitors to the area around Dobrinj are also encouraged to visit Biserujka Cave in Rudine.
History
The eastern parts of Krk are considered among the oldest Croatian settlements on the island and are regarded as the cradle of Croatian written and cultural history. The Glagolitic script developed in this area.
