Culture

The old town of Xàtiva was designated a Conjunto Histórico-Artístico in 1982. Xàtiva’s historic centre can be explored on a leisurely walk through its monumental cultural heritage. Iglesia de Sant Feliu was built in 1265 after the Christian conquest by Jaume I. It stands on the remains of a former Visigothic cathedral. Its Romanesque portal is one of the few examples of this architectural style in the Valencian region. Ruta de los Borja is a walking route through Xàtiva’s old town to buildings and places associated with the Borja family. Arrival and Dates

Xàtiva’s ADIF station is located within the city on Avenida Ausiàs March, about ten minutes from the historic centre. The RENFE commuter line C-2 connects València Nord, Xàtiva and Moixent.
