Traces of the Antiguo lavadero’s former use for washing clothes are still preserved. The Antiguo lavadero marks the beginning of a series of irrigation channels connected with the emergence of water from underground.

Daimús holds an extensive annual festival calendar that combines tradition, culture and entertainment. Moros i Cristians is part of Daimús’s annual festival calendar. In the Els Pedregals district, traditional patron-saint festivities honouring Santiago Apóstol take place around 25 July.
