Culture and History

The Ermita de Santa Bárbara was built in 1725 through donations from the town’s residents. It was an important site for processions of supplication, during which believers prayed for divine protection in the face of plagues affecting the crops. The Ermita de Sant Roc de Ternils is a 13th-century church from the Reconquista and is designated a monument of national interest.

The Magatzem de Ribera is a modernist warehouse built in 1903 for processing oranges and is considered an outstanding example of this type of building.
