Holiday apartment in Inazares: mountains, Dolina de Inazares and hiking trails
Inazares is surrounded by the foothills of the Sierra de Revolcadores. To the east of the village lies the Sierra de Villafuerte; its highest point, Villafuerte, reaches 1,750 metres. In the vicinity of Inazares, Mount Revolcadores remains snow-covered for several months of the year due to its elevation. The regional tourism authority describes the Revolcadores massif in the surrounding area as a destination for mountain hiking.
Nature and mountains
A special geological formation is the Dolina de Inazares. It is regarded as the most representative example of exokarstic formations of this kind catalogued in the Region of Murcia and contains deposits of Lower Jurassic cephalopods, including ammonites, belemnites and Atractites. The doline can be reached on foot from the road to Inazares. It lies approximately 550 metres south-west to west-south-west of this road and around 1,500 metres before Inazares. Various paths from Inazares or from the road also lead close to it.
The Dolina de Inazares is easily accessible and suitable for all visitor groups; no difficulty level is specified. Caution is required when accessing it in rain, snow and thunderstorms, as a stream must be crossed and the paths are not paved. A reference specimen of Orchis purpurea from Fuente Mellina in the Sierra de Villafuerte in Murcia has been documented. In the wider regional surroundings of Inazares, Narcissus nevadensis subsp. enemeritoi occurs in the Sierra de Villafuerte near Moratalla. According to NASA's scientific estimates, Inazares has an exceptionally clear sky, described as the clearest on the Iberian Peninsula.

The interior of the Church of San Nicolás de Bari preserves the original lines as well as part of the fittings and ornaments from the time of its construction. Inazares is mentioned in a document from 1507; this suggests that the village was already an inhabited settlement at that time.
The patron saint's festival of Inazares is celebrated in honour of Saint Nicholas and usually takes place on the second or third weekend in August. The dates may vary from year to year.
Cuisine and festival traditions
The local food culture includes traditional mountain cuisine with recipes based on pork and lamb, potatoes, wheat and flour. Migas con tropezones is considered a notable traditional dish of Inazares. During the patron saint's festival, roast lamb and barbecued lamb are eaten as typical dishes.
