The parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción in Martín Muñoz De Las Posadas houses its greatest historical and artistic treasure: “El Calvario”, a painting by El Greco. The church building dates from the 16th century and was erected over an earlier structure from the 13th century. Old buildings stand around the representative Plaza Mayor, which is partly lined with arcades. When visiting Martín Muñoz De Las Posadas, you can view a restored sundial.
