The Itinerari urbà per Esterri follows a historic route between Carrer Major and Casa Gassia.

You can walk along the Passeig del Riu on the right bank of the Noguera Pallaresa.

For Esterri d’Àneu, 170 hectares are designated within the peripheral protection zone of Aigüestortes National Park.
The D’Isil a Esterri d’Àneu route is 18.3 kilometres long, has 685 metres of elevation gain, takes seven and a half hours, is completed as a round trip and is considered very demanding.
The Route dels tres municipis includes a section of the GR 11.
In the area around Esterri d’Àneu, rafting, canyoning, hydrospeed, kayaking, canoeing and zip-line courses are offered or listed as adventure sports.
Festivals and traditions
During Holy Week, the Processó dels Armats is one of the typical and distinctive traditions of the local area around Esterri d’Àneu.
The programme of the Festa Major d’Esterri d’Àneu includes the traditional dances Ballada de Sardanes, Ball Pla, Ball dels Guapos, Ball de Bastons and l’Esquerrana.
