History

A gathering is held at the hermitage of Sant Pol. It takes place on the Sunday before the Monday of Pasqua Granada.
Castell de Cabanabona Castle is first mentioned in 1040. It was one of the fortresses on the southern border of the County of Urgell.
The tower of Vilamajor Castle stands in the municipality of Cabanabona. It is approximately 5 metres wide and about 14 metres high. Its final 2 metres date from a restoration.
During the restoration of the tower of Vilamajor Castle, adjoining houses were demolished. Before that, these houses had obstructed the tower's visibility.
