Llançà has 7 km of coastline. It includes 22 beaches and small coves.

Coast and nature

Llançà is surrounded by the Parc Natural del Cap de Creus both on land and at sea. The Paratge Natural d'Interès Nacional de l’Albera likewise surrounds the town both on land and at sea. A regional project of the Parc Natural del Cap de Creus includes eight municipalities, including Llançà. These municipalities belong to the nature park and its area of influence.

The Platja del Cau del Llop is located in the vicinity of Llançà. The Platja de les Tonyines is also located in the vicinity of Llançà. The Platja de la Farella is likewise located in the same vicinity. The Platja del Port is also located in the vicinity of Llançà.

Culture and history

The Castell-Palau de l’Abat served as the residence of the lords of Sant Pere de Rodes. Justice was administered at the Castell-Palau de l’Abat. The Torre Romànica is preserved from the former church of Sant Vicenç. It is the church’s only surviving architectural element.
