In Sant Cugat Del Vallès, the Monestir de Sant Cugat is a significant example of medieval art in Catalonia. The Torre Negra dates back to a fortress built in 1145 to protect the area belonging to the monastery. It is an imposing fortified house made of dark stone and associated with the monastery. 44% of Sant Cugat's area is included in the Parc Natural de la Serra de Collserola. Mercantic is a meeting place for antiques, art, gastronomy and music. The mix brings together objects, cultural offerings, food and musical events in a shared setting.
