Yuncos between Urban Palace, Pilgrimage Route and Agricultural Landscape

In Yuncos, Casa de Ciriaco stands on Calle Real. This Neomudejar urban palace now houses Yuncos Town Hall. Its interior includes Talavera ceramic tiles by Ruiz de Luna from 1926, which decorate the walls of the courtyard.

Culture and History

The parish church of San Juan Bautista in Yuncos was built in the 16th century and designed in the Renaissance style. Narciso Clavería was commissioned to build Casa de Ciriaco; construction took place in 1929.

The Casas de la Hidalguía date from the 18th century and add another chapter of contemporary history to the town’s historic appearance.

The Toro Enmaromado was formerly also known as the Toro del Aguardiente and is associated with the celebrations of San Blas. This traditional popular festival is officially recognised as a Fiesta de Interés Turístico Regional, that is, a festival of regional tourist interest.

At the Museo de Coches de Cine, each vehicle is presented with information about its appearance on screen, anecdotes from the filming and technical details. As a result, the exhibits place film history and automotive technology side by side.
