Herada: Village Architecture, Tumulus and MTB Route

Herada is one of the Sobano villages that has preserved its characteristic village morphology and distinctive rural architecture. Herada is home to so-called Indiano houses. It has an approximately circular ground plan measuring 9 metres in diameter in the north-south direction and 12 metres in the east-west direction, as well as a height of 1.3 metres. The La Casía tumulus is in poor condition and has been partially eroded. Routes

The official Busta–Fresnedo MTB route continues to Herada via Santa María, La Cistierna and Busta. The Busta–Fresnedo MTB route passes through Herada and then continues through Barrio de Abajo.
