Callo del Guincho de Arriba cannot be reached by vehicle, but only via the beach promenade. Next to Callo del Guincho de Arriba, a pedestrian promenade runs along the entire coast of the Golf del Sur urbanisation. The Paseo Romero on the coast of San Miguel de Abona is a recurring, established local cultural event held at the Centro Comercial San Blas in Golf del Sur. It includes a religious celebration, craft stalls, performances by Orquesta Pasión Gomera and numerous folklore groups. Guided visits to the San Blas Environmental Reserve include an interpretation centre and a route through the Barranco de San Blas, where visitors can learn about geology, vegetation, native fauna, the indigenous history of the Guanches and traditional Canarian life.
