Paths and Landscape

A branch of the Senda del Oso ends next to the restored El Cribu coal loading facility. The starting point of the route to Puerto de Agüeria is in the village of Ḷḷindes; there is a car park and signs marking the start of the route. This route is linked to the traditional practice of driving livestock to the high mountain pastures every summer.

The Molinos del Corroriu route leads to three restored old mills. They are connected with the agricultural tradition and the milling of escanda wheat.

The Ruta de las Reliquias is a medieval historic itinerary that crosses Quirós between the Aramo and Sobia mountain ranges. Covering 40 kilometres, the route passes through Quirós, Teverga, Morcín and Oviedo. On foot, the almost 40-kilometre route takes around 16 hours and ends at the Ermita de San Antonio in Pedroveya.

Cochao Castro is known for its panoramic views and is best reached from Villamarcel via a well-preserved path. The church of Santa María in Bermiego dates from the period between the 9th and 15th centuries.
