Culture

The Torre de Sirviella is protected in the Municipality of Onís as a Site of Cultural Interest. The three-storey building from the 16th century illustrates the transition from late medieval to Renaissance architecture. Its architectural features include a main portal with a round arch and two twin-arched windows on the second upper floor.

The Ruta de las Casonas Asturianas de Onís passes through local villages and focuses on Asturian manor houses and ethnographic heritage. The area around Onís is also home to the Museo de Covadonga, a museum, and the Santuario de Covadonga, a church. The Sidra Experience is a visitor activity where participants learn about, taste, and share cider.
