Culture and History
The Museo Etnográfico de Grandas is spread across Casa Rectoral, Casa del Molinero and A Casoa. The Museo Castro Chao Samartín displays more than 350 original objects that provide insight into the lives of the inhabitants of ancient Ocela.
Landscape and Water
The Navia is considered a river particularly suitable for trout fishing. The Mirador Boca de la Ballena offers views of the reservoir and the Salime dam from a concrete viewing point above the Navia. The viewpoint can be reached from the AS-14 through a tunnel cut into the rock.
The Salto de Salime is used for hydroelectric power generation and is compatible with water sports and navigation.
