The main altar of the Collegiate Church of Santa María la Mayor in Bolea comprises 20 tempera-painted panels and 57 polychrome wood carvings. The Collegiate Church of Bolea was classified as a national historic-artistic monument and as an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC) on 23 February 1983.
Culture
The Parish Church of Santa María la Mayor in Bolea was built according to a design by Pedro de Irazábal between 1541 and 1559. The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Soledad has a large nave, a barely pronounced transept and a polygonal apse.

Trails
The PR-HU 111 route from Bolea initially follows the GR 1, passes the Hermitage of Santa Quiteria, then runs parallel to the Río Sotón and climbs to the Hermitage of San Cristóbal.
Stage 37 of the GR 1 shares its route with the Hoya de Huesca Nature Trail and, after leaving Bolea, passes the turn-off to the Hermitage of San Cristóbal, which is carved into the rock.
Stage 4 of the Hoya de Huesca Nature Trail runs from Bolea to Arguis through the Sierra de Gratal and is 18.5 kilometres long. The third stage of the Camino de Santiago runs from Huesca to Bolea.
