Discover Cóbdar: Marble, River and Culture

Cóbdar is located in the Sierra de los Filabres and is surrounded by pine trees. The town lies below the striking La Piedra hill, made of bright white marble; the Río Los Molinos flows through Cóbdar. Marble, woodland and water give the town different landscape reference points. A cave in La Piedra was discovered in 1959 by José Castillejo and Miguel Granero, residents of Cóbdar.

Nature

The SL-A 016 Camino del río Los Molinos route is accessible on foot, by bicycle and on horseback. Along this route, the path leads through a shady, cool forest towards Molino de la Palmera, which is considered one of the largest. The three stated modes of transport can be considered different options when making your personal plans; when planning your own trip, the order is entirely up to you.
