Rogla offers views of a diverse winter sports area: the Rogla ski resort covers 100 hectares. In addition, there are paths through forest landscapes, remarkable structures at lofty heights, and varied cycling opportunities.

Winter and exercise

Cross-country skiing in Rogla includes a network of 25 kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails. The cross-country skiing centre also has a start-and-finish arena, which is particularly suitable for beginners to learn and train. Another attraction is the Zlodejevo toboggan run, which can be used year-round regardless of the season.

In Mašinžaga Park, the Flying Coaster track is 1,700 metres long. The park also offers a 1,500-metre-long gravity-powered track for mountain trikes. This means that different forms of transport are found side by side here, from the groomed trail to the park’s distinctive tracks.

Forest and landscape

The Pohorje Treetop Trail is 1,000 metres long overall and leads to a 35-metre-high tower. Inside it, there are a further 440 metres of trail.

The Pohorje–Kozjak Trail also has its own sequence of sections: the sixth stage leads from Koča na Klopnem vrhu via forest paths to Koča na Pesku and ends at Rogla. The Lovrenška Lakes are a striking natural destination. They form Slovenia’s largest raised bog and comprise 20 small lakes.

Cycling and trails

Rogla Bike Park has nine varied forest trails and a practice course. For tours outside the park, the Zreče–Rogla A2 cycling route is the main option; it runs along lightly trafficked roads and picturesque forest paths. Mašinžaga provides transport for hikers, cyclists, and bicycles.

Taste and origin

The Pohorje Pot dish bears the “Tastes of Rogla” quality designation. It was invented by Darinka Orlačnik, the head chef of the hotel in Rogla.
